As part of my forays into WebVR, I decided to focus on “building blocks” rather than trying to tackle the whole problem of how you build a full VR experience on WordPress at once.
To that end, my first step was making sure that WordPress can “understand” industry-standard glTF models. I was kind of surprised that a plugin didn’t already do this, so I published this one.
Here’s some examples:
[gltf_model scale=”0.02″ url=”https://goldsounds.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Buggy.gltf”]
[gltf_model scale=”2.0″ url=”https://goldsounds.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Box.gltf”]
[gltf_model scale=”1.0″ url=”https://goldsounds.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Duck.gltf”]
